Wow.that sucks that his dad doesn't want to help him.  

Early intervention is a great thing! My oldest DD has been doing it since the age of 4 and she has progressed so well! I think you can get a count appointed request where your ex is mandated to take him to appointments if it is in the best interest of the child. You can have the speech pathologist appear in court to verify it.

I have heard great things from early intervention. Hopefully you can get BDs ass in line. I'd be sooo pissed at him! Good luck with everything!

U guys have 50/50 legal?? That's what we have and I was soooo scared his dad wouldn't sign the release... will he even go to see the dr. With u guys?? I made him go to deans phsyc. And have that dr. Tell him. About dean and his meds, counseling ect...
He has adhd and odd he's on adderal

We have 60/40 legal. 60% is me. We have him Thursday thru Monday. So he has him Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday which are a lot of the days the appointments will be. If we do wind up going to court I have a feeling I'd go in my favor. I doubt that a judge would turn a blind eye to a state issued assessment stating a developmental delay just because his father is mad time is being taken away from him.

Thank you! It took a lot of patience and dedication. She's still is speech therapy for a a small speech impediment but her teacher is wonderful. Plus my best friend is a speech pathologist and she guides me for things to look for and how to further help my DD out. Good luck lady! I doubt a judge will go against a child's need of help.
