if you or someone you know, actually do ballet, do they ever have issues with their ankles?

Yes. And her toes hurt a lot and last I heard she was getting arthritis on her feet.

i don't do ballet, but a lot of times when i'm sitting around the house, my feet are extended out like in ballet. my ankles and feet kill!

Yep. Ankle and knee problems here. Gotta love it   Although the knee problems are from track and field lol

Hmm. Like, when you just sit down your feet are just pointed when you're relaxed? My step mom and step sister have really flexible ankles and theirs do that-- but I don't think they've ever had an issue with soreness. Are you possibly hyper extending them or something?

i guess they are kind of tensed. my ankles are really flexible. they like to roll at random times when i walk. i have to get DH to pop them at least once a wk or i feel like screaming with every step

Aw, that's no good.   I'd mention it to your doctor next time you go. Or if you know anyone that's a physical therapist-- I bet some ankle strengthening exercises would help you.

Nah, ankle strengthening will help them from rolling and help them stay stable so they don't keep getting re-injured you know? <3

o ok. i'll probably mention it next time i got to a doc. i'm supposed to be doing PT for my hips but haven't been able to go.
