Hospitals Early Pregnancy Loss program..

I just have to say, This program is amazing!
At first I hated it cause they called the day after my M/C to check up on me but the wound was just so raw.. I hated that they were asking me questions about the bleeding.

They, unlike my doctor, were able to give me my results over the phone from my blood test.. Which Im so thankful for. They emailed me all kinds of info, Numbers to support groups if need be and answer any questions. They confirmed that I had a complete miscarriage. It's just the kindest group of ladies, Im so thankful that my hospital of choice has this program now. They will be calling me one more time to make sure the bleeding has stopped then sending a letter to my family doctor for his records, I don't have to go through the hassle.

Wish ANY of my prior hospitals/docs did ANY of that.

They didn't even tell me I might have clots or bleed for days and days or anything at all---my first loss was TRAUMATIC because I had no idea that those things could happen!

I didn't have it with my first either, But the ER doctor did explain what was going to happen.

that's awesome that they are so supportive.
in a time that you need it, im sure. through both of my m/c i didn't have any support except from my ex. and he was in afghanistan both times.

when I had my first MC at 6 weeks, I called for questions and support...told them I had bright red bleeding and think I could be miscarring, she told me it was implantation bleeding, but I knew it was not right. She assured me that what I was going through was all normal and she said congrats..., over the weekend my HCG went down to 0 and I lost my baby. It was some russian speaking women at the royal alex pregnancy loss center, the next 2 MC's the nurses were very supportive, and they sent me for blood work every week till my levels were normal, and talked to me if I needed grieving counseling. But that first nurse was so cold...  sorry for your loss again hun, it's never easy...regardless how many times someone says "I'm sorry for your loss".
