My only concern with it is she said only the girls didn't have to. She didn't mention whether her son did or not. If it was just the girls, that would be cause for an investigation, but if it's all of the kids, I don't see the issue. I wasn't allowed to wear my "big girl undies" at night because my mom was scared I'd pee in them.

My common sense doesn't say that is abuse.

Also, when you file your report and when you call to set up his pedi appointment do NOT use the term "messed with" say what it is. You are suspicious that your son is being abused and molested. They will take you more seriously.

At such a young age they do not understand what abuse means, especailly not sexual. Make an appointment to have them looked at. Even book one with a psychologist as well.

Why would JUST the girls be a cause for an investigation? Boys can be abused too.

Take your kid to the Doctor, but please, please, please have it be a Doctor that specializes in the sexual abuse of children. I have been assigned to a few cases in the past of sexual abuse where they went to a family Doctor, Pediatrician or even the Hospital and the evidence wasn't sufficient because they didn't see the right kind of Doctor.

No it's not. My FIL called CPS on me because we're nudists. They just called me about it.

I meant if he was only having the girls sleep without underwear, that'd be just cause for abuse. It's not illegal to not let your kids wear underwear to bed, not in any state. But if the girls were being told they couldn't wear panties while the boys could wear their underwear, telling a county official that would spur an investigation.

No. And in any case, wouldn't "making" your child go to bed fully nude be more of a red flag?

Yeah, we are naked kinda people too.

Nothing about this post says that these children are in fact being abused. I have a 4 year old who complains his bottom hurts and when I look it's because he pooped and tried to wipe his own butt. Sleeping without underwear isn't abuse. Hell, I never wear underwear and don't make my son wear them to bed because they cut into his skin. A two year old trying to pull at his penis isn't even abuse. It's not like the two year old knows what he/she is doing.

Not necessarily. They were being told that because they had a vaginal odor. I've seen a few parents do this to girls to let them "air out" overnight.
