Do you use Orajel?

Nope. Not after I learned what Benzocaine can do to a person, human or child, I stay away from it.

We don't.

I do but I try to limit it as much as possible. I found Orajel Naturals that doesn't have benzocaine in it and tried that when my oldest was teething but he wasn't a fan of the taste since they use clove oil.

Benzocaine can cause a deadly allergic reaction whether it is the first time you use it or the 100th.

It is absorbed through the gums and it can get into the blood stream, causing the amount of oxygen carried through the body to be greatly reduced. It can cause a lot of complications and in serious situations, death.

We tried the naturauls as well with DD, she didn't like it either, We ended up using hylands teething tablets. They worked like a charm! But nope neither me nor DH use orajel, when our teeth hurt we just take a tylenol.

I have never seen teething tablets. A family I used to babysit the mom said she used them with her oldest but then they were taken off the shelves. I have heard they are allowed to sell again but I still haven't seen them...

Walmart has them, the only brand I have ever seen is Hylands, they are like a super homeopathic brand, no actual 'medicine' they have all kinds of stuff! http://www.hylandsbaby.com/product/teething-tablets-2/

I have never seen them at my walmart. Granted half the time they don't have orajel or A+D either:/

  well I'm throwing my orajel away. I've rarely used it because he doesn't like it, I use the all natural teething tablets mainly  

We use Orajel naturals, DD doesn't mind the taste too much and it works great.
