my dd only does those things when she is tired. i put her in her pack n play alone in her room for 15 min increments until she falls asleep or stops being rough. sometimes ive taken her out and had to put her back in. she is 12 months.

just put her in timeout for 2 mins and than take her out and just tell her if she hits or spits again that shes going back in. its not gonna be easy but make sure to be persistant. She should eventually get the hint
