1st period!

posted 12th Dec
My SO's daughter got her first period today. I am running to the store for pads after work but I was also thinking of putting together some "period goodies" in a basket for her. I was thinking chocolate of course, salty food like chips or pretzels, a heating pad, and maybe some caffeine free midol. Any other suggestions you can think of to go in? I know she is probably feeling crappy because I know I did for my 1st and her mother and father are a mess lol. Their baby is a grown up now. She is 11 by the way, poor thing. I know it's not terribly young, but I was 15.

Lol @period goodies.. And I would get regular midol, the caffeine is what helps with the cramps.
I got mine when I was 10. I just needed help using a pad and then never wanted to talk about it again until I was like 13 and wanted to use tampons hahah

I second the sweatpants idea! I usually steal my SO's sweatpants cause they are a size (sometimes 2) bigger than what I wear. I usually get a bag of salty/buttery popcorn (usually the pour over movie theater butter kind) and watch a movie.
