Sleeping

My lil man is a month old and he will fall asleep when I hold or feed him but as soon as I set him in the crib he wakes up and starts to cry advice please

ith my daughter and son i had to lay them on their bellies....always worked

I'm afraid he will smother him self he likes to move around and "talk" in his sleeP

i got told to put something in basket with baby that smells of you. something like a pillow, blanket, teddy, scarf
i had a few tiny pillows os i put 1 each side and put him on his side, it took a few days for him to get used to it but hes now 6 months old and sleeps gretae. he still has pillows in his cot and will have a kip on a v pillow on the sofa during the day

when my son was that small i just held him or if i had house cleaning i would wear him...now if the house is clean i will still hold him if not he will sleep in his crib or swing for a nap

Inlo e to hold him and I do t mind it's just gettinG to the point were he wants me to hold him all night and day and will get upset if he doesn't see me around I will try the pillow thing do you think a shirt will work I can swaddle him in it with his blanket?
