On December 6th, I woke up thinking it was just going to be a normal day. But little did I know my life was about to change completely.
At 10:30am, I started getting contractions, but I say they were braxton hicks because they were just irregular so I didn't worry to much.
My mom and I decided to go out to eat. We went to this local Mexican restaurant one of my favorites. My mom kept asking me how I was feeling if I wanted to go in and eat or just get it to go. I told her I wanted to go in. We ate and then we left and went back home.
Once we got home we just put in a movie and watched it, and then I put another movie in. About half way through the movie at 3:37pm, the contractions started really coming. I didn't say anything to my mom at first cause I was just making sure they were the real deal. It got to the point where I couldn't sit but it hurt to walk too. I was pacing back and forth though, cause I'd rather walk than sit. My mom asked me what was wrong and I told her that it was time. So we got everything ready and went to the hospital.
I got into triage so they could monitor me, she watched the contractions for 15 minutes and then she checked my cervix and I was 5 cm and all the way effaced. So they took me into labor and delivery and 20 minutes later I had my epidural. And about 15 minutes after I got that, my doctor came in to break my water and he told me I was 8 cm, but the baby was breech. So before I knew it I was being rushed in to have a c-section.
And at 9:10 pm, my baby girl was here. 6 lbs 5 oz and 19 inches long. (:
