What would you do????? go yes no???

My son got invited to a birthday party. Hes in preschool. Its tonight from 6-8. Kale told me he doesn't want to go a number of times. He said he dosen not like the little boy bc he bit him at school. I never heard that from anyone at his school. I think that is something they would tell me. But I keep telling him all his friends will be there, they will have cake, probably pizza. And have fun. Still he says no, I do not want to go.
Well my mom is all uppity up in this town. We live in a very, VERY small farming town. Where everyone knows you business before you do.
She says I have to make him go. That it would not be nice to not go since he was invited. And Kale does not understand with a birthday party is.
What do you think should I make him go? I don't want to but my mom is saying I should make him go b.c he will have fun once he gets there.
Also I am worried b.c I have no clue who this kid is whos his family ect. I am not comfortable just dropping Kale off with someone I have no clue who they are.

My daughter would be mysteriously sick if she didn't want to go to a party.

Forcing your kid to go is terrible dude. He doesn't want to go. The saying "he'll have fun once he gets there" is best applied when it's regarding something with his family, not a kid at school he expressed that he doesn't like.

I would NOT make him go, he doesn't want to go.

Don't make him go if he doesn't want to go. And the fact that she told you that you need to force your child to go is more incentive to not go in my book.

I didn't even RSPV so maybe he won't go. IDK maybe after school he will be excited b.c they will all be talking about it. Plus 8 pm is his bedtime. I think thats kinda late for a party IMO on a school night. I must be a lame mom.

I know I don't want to force him to go esp. if he said he doesn't like the kid. Which I would like Kale to like everyone and get along. But come on... do we all like everyone and get along haha. Yeah, No.  

I've never heard of a preschool party where the kids are just dropped off. Parental ways stay with kids that young. Weird.

Well the little smurf bit him. That's kind of a valid reason for your kid to not like him. I wouldn't make him go. No way!

LOL oh that made my day... Yeah he got bit before at daycare by a naughty little boy. SO I think hes traumatized. Bc it was on his lip and it split his lip wide open. I was going to take him to ER but they couln't do anything.
