Cleveland Clinic

Has anyone ever gone there? My appointment is on Monday and I am trying to be as hopeful as possible. It is a 5 hour drive so hopefully comes from it. Just wanted to see if anyone had gone and to what department, what their experience was like?

I have, it's a great hospital. A HUGE hospital, but good.

Do you have a map of the hospital?

Oh, then you should be okay if you know where the office is. Are you going to the main campus? There are so many buildings.. I get lost everytime.

My grandpa went there when he was battling cancer of the blood. They helped him very well from what I remember.

I'm about 30mins east of the clinic.

I went there for my daughter. Pediatric Endocrinology.

*eta: 25-30mins actually. Depending on traffic, sometimes I can get there in 20mins.

Did you just have an appointment or did they do tests the same day? I wonder if I will end up spending the night? I have a great Endo so I was suggested to try a Rheumatologist too as I have more findings of another autoimmune disorder.

yes, I wasn't sure which department to go to,since my problems seem to be global. I have heard some reviews that she is...a bitch. I sure hope I get some answer.

One more day! I hope it goes well. My Endo started me on steroids, got another diagnosis,unfortunately doesn't explain everything though.

It was pretty easy to find. I don't know about the appointment. She talked to me for a little while. Didn't look at my records, then diagnosed me with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia on top of all my other stuff. (Add to my list,just found out that not only do I have Hashimotos (Primary Hypothyroidism) but I also have Secondary Hypothyroidism:// Oh and don't forget Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency that I am now on Steroids for.I think it is a blanket diagnosis.
She wants me to still have my Tilt Table Test, as she still suspect Dysautonomia. She is also doing some blood work to check for Lupus and some MS markers before doing any other tests. I feel blown off and I have had two appointments with two other doctors who feel the same as me. Typical response for a Rheumatologist,as that is her specialty. Next is a Neurology apointment. I have to look at this from every medical angle, especially with the ambiguous MRI of the brain.
