Yeah, some parents sucks. Deal with it. I don't think it's that we are incapable of complex thought, I think it's that no one wants to chit chat about how much someone thinks Americans suck.

Being a parent doesn't come automatically, being a good parent even less. Instead of criticizing, offer advice, you're merely adding to the frustrations of being a parent and trying to figure out how to best handle each situation- which is going to be unique to each parent and child.

Get off your soap box and offer advice, preferably after you've been a parent yourself and found a method that works for you kids.

Education, huh? Many parents have no education, which is why there are permissive (the Xbox giver) and authoritarian parents (the spankers). If you actually did some research on child development you would know that neither of these parenting styles is the most conducive to raising a respectful, kind and contributing member of society. It shows ignorance on your part to speak in absolutes.
