This happens to me when I rub my eye too hard, and it hurts for weeks. Most likely there was something in your eye, you rubbed it and it scratched the smurf out of your eye.

It's not as bad today. I still have that smidge of a headache, though. But it doesn't hurt as much to touch (like when I push on my lower eyelid a bit). Hopefully it's going away. But smurf... that was a looooong two weeks
