If you went to meet with a doula, and upon meeting her saw that she had dreads, would that be off-putting or make you think twice about hiring her? Or would it be one of those things that doesn't really matter? Just curious  

Doesn't matter to me unless she's got wildlife living in em.

her personality, not her hair style would be the only thing influencing my decision.

I wouldn't think anything of her having dreads.

It wouldnt matter to me as long as she looked clean. Actually i prefer my drs to be more casual vs the uptight super professional

Yeah my dr was really serious & not friendly so i switched to a different lady

I dunno. I have a hair phobia. As long as she has them neatly up maybe I wouldn't freak out and implode.

My doula had dreads. Originally I thought I would be put off by it, but she was just too awesome to not hire. While I was in labor, I definitely wasn't thinking about her hair anyway. lol

I WISH my doula had dreds. Seriously....I'd prob let her catch my baby cuz she'd be THAT awesome lol.

SO has dreds and the OB who did my section with the twins did also and SO thinks the world of her lol

My Doula doesn't have dreads but she's have sleeves of tattoos and even though I'm not tatted I think they look beautiful on her. She's super sweet, laid back, and awesome I can't wait til the birth of my baby and when she can meet her.
