Oh my gosh what is this song?!?!

I was watching Abby Lee's Ultimate Dance Competition today, and when Madison did her solo near the end I LOVED the song, but cant find out who it is by!! Can someone help me find it  

It was her dance for her being the lyrical winner. The lyrics say things like "I've been singing in the rain, been belting out the pain, my teardrops fall along the way, the rain starts changing into snow, it paints me white with hope, that you'll come back and take me home"

The lyrics of the song really speak to me right now with what's going on.... LOVED IT!

But I can't find it! Help!

I don't watch the show, so was it a man or woman singer?
