38 weeks & contracting

im 38 weeks & 1 day and my stomach has been tighten upp all day like it is now .... & my va jay jay aka vagina has been hurting badd like its about to fall out! should I wait to go to the hospital or go now ... I have a doc appt friday though but idk #NEEDHELP

Lol i think we know what a va jay jay is lol. Have you been timing them? I would time them for a while and see how you feel after.

If you're 38 weeks, I'd time them, and call your provider as well.

It could be. Time them for a while and drink some water and lay on ur left side. If they stop, then it's false labor. Btw off topic, i just creeped your profile and i love the name you picked for your baby. I was going to name my son Carson but his said shot that down lol.

Go if they are 5 minutes or less apart for an hour.

my son was born at 37 weeks and i had contractions on and off for acouple days leading up to his birth. they would stay regular for acouple hours then suddenly stop.. then start up again a few hours labor it was very confusing and annoining theni started bleeding so i saw the doctor and said said my body was trying to go into labor and she would be seeing me again soon. that night i went into full labor and had him at 12pm the next day. I say time your contractions also try timing while going for a walk they should stay regular or get closer/stronger. then try sitting down and see if they keep coming or if they stop. if they continue or get stronger and are 5-10 min apart you can go get checked at the hospital

alrighty & thanks I love the name if she was going to be a boy I was gonna name him Carter Blake , but im going to lay down for a while I havent since I been off work cause of the tightness & backache

I went to l&d yesterday bc I'm 36 wks and had been contracting for a day and a half with cramping and pain in my.vagina too...when i got there they were 7-10 mins apart ..was there for 6 hours &.at the end was only 1 cm dialated and hadn't changed since i got there so they sent me home and told me to basically go back only when they become unbareable

I'm in the same boat! Due the day b4 you and the last 2 days have been having bad contractions...but not steady:/.. I'm gonna go to bed now and see if they go away....if you are in true labor...the will continue no matter what you do!!! Most hospitals have a 4-1-1 or 5-1-1 rule....5 minutes btwn contractions contractions at least 1 minute timed for an hour..... But if you are concerned you can go in whenever!!!!!
