Pronounced 'Lee-ehv'

I really like the name Liev Orion.

What do you think?

I actually like it.
But if would seem like he'd have a lifetime of explaining how to pronounce his name

First thing I noticed is I looks like live onion.
It's different. Not too bad.

Smurf DH said the same thing about the onion part. Orion definitely looks like onion when it's in cursive haha oh well.

I like the name but it would get annoying to constantly have to explain how it is pronounced and spelled.

Yes its Russian/Hebrew.

I admit it, thats where I got it from haha. I saw his wifey talking about him on Ellen yesterday and I fell in love with the name. Its kinda like Liam which I like but its so common.

LOL. I fought for Leiv over Liam for my sons middle but DH was adamantly against it. He didn't want to pass on his name. Its Levi but his German relatives say Leiv.  


Its a great choice! And Orion is bad ass.

Thank you   I am so in love with that name, I've honestly never really liked a boy name in all the years we have tried to choose one haha.

I like it!!! I don't think the pronunciation thing is that big of a deal. No one can ever pronounce my last name right so I am constantly correcting/helping them. Doesn't bother me anymore.
