Heartburn and acid reflux!!!!!!

I have heartburn that is killing me. My last pregancy this was not an issue until about 33 weeks, but this time it has come early and is back with a vengeance.

I eat tums like it's my job, but the texture makes me gag. So, I was wondering if any of you ladies have a tried a truth method for controlling this unbearable beast?

Tums never worked for me, but you can gaviscon it comes in a tab or liquid its a life saver for me, i can take one and be good for the rest of the night

Crushed ice works for me and I have horrible heartburn... it's like chest pains...

I will try that now. Yes, I have chest pains, and burning in my throat and ears  

The last few days ive woken up with acid reflux and gone to bed with it to it the worst thing ever it went away for like 2 weeks but it came back and now i basically have it all day unless i take the gaviscon, I should also mention that your not supposed to eat within 30 minutes of taken it because it will make you throw up  

Ive had it since about 24 weeks! Its awful! My dr wrote me a script for Ranitidine . which is just another name for zantac. (Was cheaper having her write the script than just buying over the counter and i got a years worth of it.) as long as i take it 2x a day im fine! mention it to your dr. and see if they can go ahead and write up something for you. you could be dealing with it the whole pregnancy!
