39wk/3days questions (long post)

Okay. So. TMI and I'd like some opinions.
Last Wed I got my membranes swept... for two days I had heavy mucus-y discharge and then by Friday I started having blood in my discharge. I assumed this was bloody show and over the weekend it got more and more bloody looking. It never was bright, bright red but the mucus that was in the bottom of the toilet was obviously red and not pink or brown. The nurse at L&D said this was normal. I was also checked and she said I was 2 cm and 95% effaced.
Yesterday I was back to just clearish mucus-y discharge and then today its got some blood streaks in it. Does the bloody show come and go like that?
Also, starting Yesterday, probably about 2 hours after I woke up, I started getting this weirdo pressure in my lower back.... and in my butt lol.... The best way I can describe it is that it's kinda painful, kinda achy/crampy, and like I need to go to the bathroom, but I don't. I also will get random sharp pains off and on. Yesterday I thought it was just her being on a nerve because laying flag seemed to help some and so did a shower but today nothing seems to be making it better. It comes and goes like contractions but it's irregular and my stomach isn't getting as hard as the nurse said it would for the contractions. (It's hardening but not to the point that it feels like I'm pressing on my forehead...) I'm able to go to the bathroom but it just feels like that the whole time.
I go to my doctor tomorrow but I've been so on edge today that I wanted to say something here, see if others are going through this, ect. TIA

awesome, i haven't actually talked to anyone with my due date yet! And I know it sounds lucky like labor is near but man I would give anything to relieve some of this pressure.

@lolajessup: bleh, I certainly hope mine doesn't go the same way. I'm hoping tomorrow he'll sweep me again and then I'll be in labor lol.
@Ashley: at least i know its normal now. It's so darn miserable, nobody ever seems to say how uncomfortable you really get at the end like it's going to scare you off lol

its just signs labor will be comin anytime....and being 95% baby is down there so u will have pressure feeling....also the mucus plug can come and go as u lose it....that happened to me with my children...thought i lost it all and then off and on for the next few days i was still losing it...im sure u will be dilated more at ur appt with the pressure and pains ur having.

@Elana:I've wondered at points if I've died, gone to hell only to find one of the lower rings is where you're 9 months pregnant for eternity lol.
Thanks though everyone. I really hope I'm dilated *just* enough... don't want to miss the chance for an epi if i chose one
