Why were you TTC if you weren't ready and if abortion was ever going to be an option? Did your husband not know you were taking all of those fertility supplements?

I don't believe it is a baby while it is an embryo, so yes, even if the embryo was mine. Coming from someone who wasn't 100% wanted, even if the mother wants the child, you can't fill that void and possible resentment.
I got pregnant by a guy who wanted an abortion, luckily I had a miscarriage and now have children with my husband who fully wanted both, I wouldn't want to bring a child into the world anyother way. just my feelings.

Yes, this is what I'm wondering. Was her husband not TTC? So weird.

A baby is a HUGE freaking strain, even when both parents plan it. Not too many people realize that apparently.

She probably means "lucky" in that the decision to abort or not was removed from her control
