Bullying

So Yesterday I pick up my daughter from school and she is complaining that her ribs hurt really bad. We get home and I usually give her a bath after school because she has paint on her or she is messy from school so I see a big huge black and blue on her side. I ask her what happened and she says her friend punched her in the ribs because she wouldnt give up her snack that I send her to school with every day. They are only in KINDERGARTEN!!

they only want to give her a 20 minute time out every day for the next 3 days and want me to have a sit down with her mother.

This isnt the first time she attacked my daughter. She pinched her because My daughter was being nice to a girl the other girl doesnt like and She pulled her hair because My daughter didnt give any popcorn. I also seen her attack another child (She pushed him to the floor and stepped on him) because He got in her way while She was washing her hands)

I dont know how to go about itt because My daughter isnt the type to be mean after someone is mean to her. I kept her home from school today because She cried that She didnt want to get beat up.

Any suggestions?

I honestly don't know.   I just wanted to say I'm.sorry for you're daughter.  

I would be smurfing livid. Go have a meeting with her mother.

Kindergarten is awfully young to have to worry about bullying.  

What does the teacher expect you to say to the other mother ?

And I am probably going to get smurf for this but, you need to teach her to start standing up for her self. She is going to have to fight back eventualy or the little girl won't stop.

I'd definitely make a bigger deal about it. Speak to the principal.

My daughter also in kinder kept complaining a boy was talking to her about sex until it went to far and he lifted her dress to see her undies. I made a huge deal because at first they took it lightly. There's no reason why your daughter should be afraid of school, something must be done

Sounds like learned behaviour.. talking to the mother might not do much, unfortunately.

thats what I think also .. like she csnt be more than 5. Whats there to be mean about?

i have no idea. I know its not going to sit well because she is nice to my daughter in front of her mom in the morning but when they get into school she turns into a brat

i was thinking about that. Im the only one who actually came into the school and complained. All the other parents just called in

i have to take her to the doctors after the meeting because you cant even touch her rib without her crying in pain

I'd take pictures and get a doctors note! An also if you could find some way to send ur daughter with a tape recorder an see if u can catch the girl being mean. And have daughter ask the girl why she hit her, an get a taped confession.

I knw that seems like a lot for a kinder grander to be to do but it's the only way to get proof

the teacher has proof of her hitting another kid. (this time a boy) she pushed him and stepped on him).. i saw it. the teacher saw it. my SO saw it
