re: Bullying

That's crazy. But I meant the other mother is going to be like how do know if it was my child. Cause that's what parents do. Hopefully the mother believes you. And went I meant proof I meant proof the girl hurt your daughter because hurting another kid isnt ur kid. But I hope u get some justice because she could really hurt ur daughter. And to leave bruises that girl is hitting pretty hard.

I hope ur daughter is okay, and hope they take it seriously.

I agree. I taught my kids not to fight or be mean, unless they need to protect themselves then they have 100% my consent to smack the smurf out of a little spoiled brat. lol We are lucky and never delt with any of this so far, 10 and 4 yrs old.

But i grew up with the same. My dad always told us, fighting solves nothing, but protecting yourself from being pushed around etc....is important. Never hit someone unless they hit you first and continue to do so, fight back till you get the upper hand then remove yourself from the sitiuation.

I would complain to the school to have the child removed from the school, they dont give suspensions there at all? They do here and the 2nd time it would have happened here that child would have been sent home for at least 3-5 days.

I hope you resolve the issue soon.

so i met with the teacher..the assistant principal... and the mother.

the little girl confessed to it all. hitting the kids.. biting.. the whole 9 yards.
all they gave her was 2 weeks in school lunch detention

i said what?! thats it.. it was because my daughter hit her back after she hit her. i said she hit her back because it was self defense. if my daughter has a bruised rib or something wrong with her rib because of this spoiled brat, i will sue for not having enough teachers watching 250 kindergartners. (they have 6 people) and i will press charges

like what kind of smurf is that?!

I would. That is smurfing stupid.

When I was in 9th grade me and my best friend had a falling out and the dude she had a baby with was mixed and she had all his cousins wanting to jump me and smurf saying I had been talking about them. I went to school late EVERY morning JUST so I would have in school suspension and not have to go to any of my classes because of these girls. One day I called my mom and walked out, to home like a block away. My mom calls like 3 hours later asking the school where I was and all this. They didn't know where I was and had been home for 3 hours and they didn't even call. My mom met with the principal. That day and they told her they couldn't protect me from them while I was there..that they couldn't follow me around all day.

Psht, that was bullsmurf. Anyway, like that same day. My BF had someone bring her to my house and we fought(sp?) And I was STILL sent to the alternative school. I was the one going to be jumped and they turned the smurf Around on me and sent me to a diff. School.

I'd be up at that school & I'd want to sit in class with them so that I could keep an eye on my child until I felt comfortable enough.
I'd probably want a meeting with the other parents to see what they plan to do to stop their child from being a bully.
I will not tolerate any form of bullying, name calling, etc. on either side of the fence.
My son recently called a special needs child a dork. He lost TV and Ipad and we wrote a letter to the child together apologizing for the hurtful words and asked for forgiveness and that he hoped he would still be his friend. I had a lengthy discussion with him about being hurtful toward others and he seemed very responsive. He was excited to give the little boy the letter.

My son is only in preschool (He's 4).

I know you're angry b/c it is your child being bullied, but you cannot assume the child is a spoiled brat. She may get her ass beat daily & she could be taking out her aggression on other children.
I think 2 weeks lunch detention is fair for a 5-6 year old. If it happens again, I'd expect out of school suspension.

i assumed that also (getting hit) because she attacked more than one kid. its like the teacher is blind to it. she sees it and as a teacher she is suppose to report that but she doesnt.

I feel bad about it because all my daughter is wants to be her friend again and didnt want to get her in trouble but She pushed it a little too far. I can see getting a little mad about not sharing snacks once in a while when you ask nicely and you are used to her sharing but to purposely punch someone in the rib because they didnt want to give you the ENTIRE bag of popcorn. that draws the line. I dont usually tell her to fight back but im glad she punched her in the face.

I am glad she did too! I would be livid if my child came home bruised up & I wouldn't let it go until I was satisfied. I don't undestand why the teacher isn't reporting this. It is part of HER job to keep an open line of communication with parents and keep the children safe.
I'd be blunt with the teacher and ask her to her face why she is turning a blind eye to this. How is your daughter feeling?

she got yelled at by the assistant principal for not reporting it

She is feeling a little better. Her rib still hurts though. Yesterday she was a hot mess. Crying and in pain

Poor baby. Hopefully the girl doesn't mess with any other kids or your daughter ever again.

Last yr maria was being bullied in grade K maria is the same way she wint be mean to someone but we got tired of people hitting/throwing rocks at her . We told her to stand up for herself this one little girl pushed maria. Maria got up amd sucker punched this little girl in the stomach and this little girl never even looked marias way . Too bad I can't say the same with the other kids who abused Maria . But have a sit down with the mother bc that's not good. How's jade feeling now?
