if your rent is $550-600

How much is your income? At least $1, 600, right?

I got a $550 apartment with $1400 income.

we pay 668 our income is 4920 a month

Our's is $550. Our income is over 5K/month.

ETA: That's after taxes, I have no idea what our net income is.  

Our mortgage payment is 624 and with both of our income we make 4500 a month

Our income is about 3500 before taxes and 2800-3000 after taxes and we pay 600 a month for rent.

$700 a month with an income of $1100

DH gets about 1600/month after everything is taken out and we pay 725. I know it's over the rent amount you were asking but it was in the income amount so I thought I'd share.

$674/month, income after taxes is around $2200

I make 1900 a month. 550 a month rent.

I'm surprised in SD it isn't! Our rent in KS was $900 for a 2 bedroom apartment.   So, I'm enjoying paying $550 for a 3 bedroom house right now (I'm currently in Montana).
