Baby Bedding

I'm in love with the bright bold colors in this nursery bedding...and the fact that I'm not stuck just decorating with one color---BORING! I will NOT be using curtains (makes it way too busy, curtains will be white sheers or pink sheers depending on wall color as our blinds make the room DARK without curtains)

But I live in base housing and painting is less than fun with them, so I don't want to put something dark on the wall just to have to change it later...

SOOOOO... If you were using this bedding, what color would you paint the walls? The furniture is a white dresser, a white crib (very similar to the picture) and a white 6 cube book shelf (sortof like ikea "expedit" shelves) that will have solid colored bins to match bedding in it for small items (socks, hats, bows, etc)

A light pink maybe? To contrast with the white furniture.

I was thinking the blue too since the bedding is all trimmed in pink and it might look less pink-on-pink?

If I were on base housing I would go with a pale pink or pale yellow (or both).

There's no yellow in the bedding.

And I just don't want a pink on pink pepto bismol room.
Especially since I don't personally like the color pink very much, haha. I tolerate it as an accent color, but really don't like pink-on-pink at all.

The blue may be a bitch to cover but I do love the color. I'm not big on pink either. The green may be to neon though.

What about a light blue then? So it isn't hard to cover when you have to move out?

I only have to primer before I move out, not totally repaint, so maybe I'd be okay with the blue.

I just don't know if I can make the blue lighter and still have it look good with the bedding if it doesn't match exactly? There are two colors of blue in the bedding, but both are pretty bright. I'd use the lighter color, though.

I prefer the blue. It stands out from the pink.

I love all the colors in the bedding! So bright and cheery

Thoughts? This would be what the room would look like (each panel is one wall, the 4th wall has 2 doors with about 2 ft of wall space in the middle, that's it)

That's cute
