When you have to commit fraud to feed your family based on rent it is being snobby.

She said he pays $800 a month in rent currently. And her 'dream house' in the ghetto would be $400. So smurfing move. Smurf $600 rent would equal the difference in food stamps.

Quoting ♥ Mrs. S ♥:" Very helpful! I never thought of buying a whole chicken, that's a great idea!"

My SO doesn't love anything but chicken breast, he says it's "gross" and fatty - but when we really need to stretch, this is what we do. I can get a whole chicken for less than 6.00. Thats less then 2.00 a meal for meat.

Chicken down here is way less expensive than any sort of beef, too. It's around 20.00 for 4lbs of ground beef and that just doesn't stretch very far.

I would rather be on food stamps and know that my children are safe, then save money in rent and risk being shot, robbed or murdered.

WHAT ARE YOU NOT UNDERSTANDING? I don't give two smurfs if she is legit on food stamps without having to lie to the government. Right now, both her and her SO are withholding information from social services to get those food benefits :/

What you don't understand is i'm not even on Food stamps! i applied and got denied. I just received WIC yesterday using my very own check stubs! yes SO may be commenting "fraud"! and you may thing i'm "snobby" because i wont go live in the ghetto for $100 cheaper.. Why don't you Google crime rate and sex offenders in Down town Newport News Virginia and you tell me if you would take your children and live there... and i'm far from raciest.. some of my very best friends are actually black.. but while your at it why don't you check out the black/white ratio and then think about why it is the way it is.... k thanks

&& yes $200 may be alot but it's diffidently not enough for a months worth of food for a family. && i was never complaining.. i just don't understand why me pregnant, paying bills on my own. gets denied because i make less then $100 to much. yet some one who works, lives at home, && pays no bills receives over $500! that's the crazzyness in my eyes.....

Oh also we do fine feeding ourselves.. right now... i'm just concerned of when SO looses his FS and we have a child what were gonna do then.. i have no doubt well be fine... it's just been a burden on the brain lately.
