Everything on their list is "healthy". They aren't going to pay for sugary cereals. I don't think there is a certain brand. I remember always having tons of crispex.

so what are some ideas you ladies have to budget to make extra money for food? getting rid of cable is defiantly on our list we have already discussed that one... but i also drive at least 45-1 hr if traffic is good to work on Fridays and Saturdays it may very well take me over 2 hrs to get home from work.. and that allllot of money spent on gas! We never go out.. i feel like alll our money is spent on gas bills and food after our $200 runs out...

You should seriously cut down as much as u can. Like cable internet smart phone stuff. I cut down and realized how much money we saved. Now our son has an awesome nursery bc of it.

yeah! haha i mean like nice ass remodeled 4 bedrooms, huge porches, big ass kitchens my dream house for $400 a month!!! lol but that all comes with the risk of getting shot every time you step outside!

Wic is like a program to keep mom and babies healthy... and only helps pregnant moms and children up to age 5.... while food stamps helps anyone who meets the requirements. Wic is easier to get on... but it's only supplemental so it doesn't cover you through the month.

That's why it's called being poor. And it sucks ass. Down grading cable is a must. If you work a reasonable shift, the bus for commuting.

Oh and if you lose food benefits you will need to contact the electric and phone company, because you probably won't qualify for that help anymore either.

I would suggest making an appt with WIC soon so you can get that on board.

Well ohio is pretty ghetto too in some parts. But i mean no place is perfect. Try making weekly menus when you cook. And only buy items you nees to prep those meals. Also a little bit of couponing goes a long way.

Sounds a bit dramatic. Maybe look on the outskirts of the ghetto? Move into a 1 bedroom? I think $800 a month when you have to lie to the government is too much. And yes, not reporting changes- place of residence and employment is fraud and lying. Those things are to be reported in10 days. Not four months. .

Well luckily any one can get one the budget plan for power here!!   all they do really is average out all your year long bills and you pay one set monthly payment.. rather that have sky high bills in winter and summer and real low bills in fall and spring!  

&& i have my WIC apt on Thursday!  

and i live in the county and they don't have public transportation there

but as for meal plans i have tried that!!!! but when i work night shifts SO usually will eat something needed for certain meals.. and then that gets thrown out the window.. lol but i do try!!!

I looove ours! I get most of our kids clothes and toys there. Then I go to the rich neighborhoods for garage sales, lol!

I know   SO have never changed his address so they also think he still lived at his moms yet grant it they dont know about his job.. but i think were both gonna change out address and everything very soon! Being an adult is very overwhelming! but were getting the hang of it slowly but surly...
