had our second appointment with Isla's neurologist now that she's 3 months.
she's scheduling another MRI and EEG and hopefully that will show that she has no more seizure activity so my baby girl can stop taking seizure medication! that'd be so awesoooome
the neurologist examined her and had no big concerns but she is still too young to determine how the brain damage is going to affect her. the tone in her legs is a little bit higher than normal, and she seems to keep her hands clenched more often than not so we'll see
right now she's doing so well though! she can roll from front to back and can almost get from her back to her belly. she holds herself up really well for extended periods during tummy time. she grasps her toys and plays, laughs and squeals, kicks around and scoots herself off her playmat.
so far she has beyond exceeded what the doctors initially told us she would do
I really hope that everything continues to look up for my little miracle baby
