That's still shopping if you're still the one buying things for her. Like I said, you can stretch 111 dollars out if you know how to shop.

That sucks. If you feel like the $111 doesn't help you cover enough of LO's (not yours) expenses then yes, you should appeal.

I just felt $200 a month was more appropriate. That's what my dad willingly paid my whole life and that's the figure me and BD agreed on.. When he was living with me he gave me like at least $400 a month, so I don't see why the court is only ordering $111

I'm probably not going to use the $111 to "shop"
I'll probably use it for with my rent since it's late every month because I don't make enough in a week to cover it.Sucks that I bring home $300 a week and my rent is $480.. So all month I'm trying to pay my bills and then in the meantime get groceries and stuff, and then at the same time put back $480 for the 1st of the month.

Uhm, no. You as a parent are responsible for providing a roof over her head & she's not using the utilities, you are.

You seriously aren't getting what she is saying.

She isn't saying that you'll use that $111 on yourself....she is saying that $111 can be stretched by SHOPping effectively.

And putting a roof over her head is the parent's responsibility, you are correct, and she has TWO parents.

I do get what she's saying and I get that $111 is better than nothing but I don't think it's fair that BD can go around with seriously like $800 in his pocket to buy whatever!

he doesn't have a home, he lives with his grandmother. and she doesn't go there, he comes here to see her.

It's not like I'm asking him to even pay half of my bills, but they said at the domestic relations office that the child should be supported the same if the father is in or out of the home, well when he lived with us we def had a lot more money. They don't make any sense.
