People like her give single moms a bad name. Its times like this that I am almost ashamed women. But then I realize there also women who care about more then money. Some people will just never grow up.

My ex didnt take his sons mom to court for money, he wanted her to better herself. And he struggles a LOT. I dont take my ex to court because I dont want the money. I wish more people were like us. Child support is not bad, it really isnt, but to use it as if its a penalty to the other parent or income is crap. Seriously, she outright said it wasnt fair he had more money than her... she wants it as a penalty! But then she admits he doesnt make crap for money (after changing how much he made multiple times) but it just comes down to greed.

I agree. Smurf I wish my LOs dad would be a part of his life. Sure hes not the best person in the world but I still wish he would be there. I could get him fpr support but I choose not to. I dont want nor should I have to force him to be a parent. The ONLY reason I wish he would be there is because LO has siblings he will never be able to know and I dont think.thats fair.

Nope, I'm def not greedy, considering I have no money ! Bd just gave me $130 yesterday from his biweekly check and it's all gone towards rent. I don't even have butter or sugar in my house, and I'm waiting for the 1st so I can buy my WIC stuff. But the heat is on, the lights are on, the water is on, & there is gas in my gas tank, and some food in my fridge, but yes, I'm sooooo greedy

I don't force bd to be there for LO, and he wants to help put a roof over her head, even he thought $111 a month was a bit ridiculous, but of course he loved it too considering judges usually screw him over, when he wasn't working at all, they ordered him to pay $155 a month.
edit: which of course he couldn't pay since he wasn't working, and it got to $800 in arrears and they put him in jail for 6 months or until the $800 was paid (which ever came first)
So I dropped the order so he could get out of jail.... Yeah I'm sooooo greedy

Why is it that you make $300+ a week, your rent is $400+ and you needed his check to pay your rent and you still have no butter or sugar? (Not that you NEED butter and sugar) and are waiting for WIC?

If you make $1200 a month you should have plenty to cover your rent and food. You need to learn how to budget. That's not me dogging you, that's being honest. Where does your money go?

Our rent is $850 for a one smurffy bedroom. I'd smurfin' MURDER for $400 rent. What all bills do you have? Do you have a budget at all or do you wing it?
