Seriously what else can go wrong???

posted 11th Dec
My history is baby girl was head down from 29 weeks to 34 weeks. She flipped on ultrasound and has been breech ever seen. We tried a version and that failed. Now we are planned for a c-section Breech delievery scares me to bad to go threw with it. Now I get a call that my step b test came back positive.

Seriously I just want a normal pregnancy. No more high risk, no more measuring 44 weeks instead of 37. No more blood pressure being high then low.

awww sorry for pointless vent just needed to get it off my chest.

well if youre having a C section anyways, Strep B wont matter. they're reguired to give you an IV and antibiotics anyways.

right the nurse told me that on the phone. She also explained a little that if DD did turn they would need to do antibotics early so baby can get them before I delevery.

Its all just frustrating.

Strep B doesnt mean much. They just give you IV medication during delivery.

I didnt know they were different kind. But I have head under boob with butt down and legs sideways if that makes sense. She sometimes goes sideways across my stomach.

frank breech is having her head up, butt down and legs against her face

sideways is transverse.

If you really dont want a section, you could try to turn her naturally. Lots of yoga and keeping your ass in the air, hopefully she'll change position. Also, you can try playing music loud by her head and hope she'll move away from it. or even frozen bags of peas where her head is.. she'll move away from the cold feeling.

It's worth a shot! Remember, your baby could even turn after you go into labor

We tried to manually turn her already saturday at the hospital she would move slightly and then pop right back to head under my left boob. She will move slightly threw out the day but come evening she is back head under boob. My husband has yelled into my belly and she doesnt move. We tried the light to see if she would move away from it.

I personally think sense I'm so short and she is so big that she doesnt have room now to turn back.

well if you dont want a section, its always worth a shot trying everything.

I was hospitalized with Pre E for weeks and the dr's decided to take her at 37weeks. she was frank breech from 20+weeks and the risks of trying to turn her out weighed the risks of havig a c section.... I've been there. If you feel a section is whats right for you, thats fine.

I have no clue what is right. My mind says try everything to turn her and get her safely here and without surgery. However, my heart and gut says maybe its not safe. I know its sounds odd but I feel maybe its god's way of keeping her safe. We have no way of knowing when she flipped if the cord is wrapped around her or not. I can't explain it but I feel I shouldnt push it anymore and just let it be if she turns wonderful if not ok then.

NO WAY...that was so incredible painful I will never let them do that again. I only agreed to it on friday cause I wanted a chance at a vainal birth but after her not budgetting tells me she probably doesnt have the room even with being forced. I'm only 5ft tall and she is already 7ish pounds and who knows how tall.

I was so sore from them pushing. I had two doctors one on each side of my stomach trying to force her to turn. It did nothing. She's move an inch then pop back. My stomach bruised and I have scratch marks all over my stomach. Plus it caused me to start having uterine irritation. I was contracting ever 30 seconds lasting 15 seconds. Before they let me go home they had stopped tho. They also did an ultrasound during the whole procedure to monitor baby

yeah, they wanted to give be an epidural and told me it could easily break limbs/ribs. thats why i decided against doing it. May as well get a spinal and get that baby outta there.
