Your right I do, but its hard when I hate it. I mean overall I "like" my job but I hate that I don't get a day off.

It is what it is though, better than your family having to pay for everything, or most things, kwim?
I was working 2 part time jobs and in college full time while parenting Joey and pregnant with Bri. It smurfing sucked but it had to be done

Quoting Mayhem.:" My kids are on medicaid. Since like...a week ago. We had to jump through hoops with paperwork and smurf. ... [snip!] ... that it was available. I don't even see HOW people can abuse it the way they do. They get all up in your finances and smurf. "

I get where you are coming from when you say jump through hoops with that damn paperwork. They denied me for medicaid for Kali so she is currently uninsured. Thank god she is part Native because they have programs here where they will cover everything if I go into one of their clinics for her. Its really a life saver. The funny thing is the people who do abuse the system are driving around bemires and high class cars, nice ass houses, but you cant afford to put food in your kids stomachs or pay for insurance or out of pocket for medical bills? They lie and they are good at it, and quite frankly it pisses me the smurf off.

That's awesome that there's still a way to have her insured.

It was tough for us because for the longest time, I refused. I honestly was pretty sure I'd prefer for them to be uninsured, and for us to pay out of pocket.
But there is not ONE doctor or dentist around here that will see them without an up front payment, in FULL. We don't have the money for that, if we did we'd be paying for insurance, kwim? So it got to where we either hippie-style it and do everything at home and hope for the best, or we got them Medicaid and could breath easier.
If we could do payments, we would've been fine, but since it's not an option we had to do something. And I STILL feel bad. I can't imagine the people who don't need the help, have the money to blow, and still get assistance. I'm like, damn, don't they feel guilty? lol

Quoting May ♥:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Kali'sMommy♥:</b>" Where do you work?"</blockquote> A steakhouse."

I worked at a 5 star restaurant and I had these problems in the beginning, I hated going to work so much pressure to do everything right and make everyone happy, even if you are miserable. You just need to be confident. I know those trays can be a smurfing bitch and the rush can be stressful, I worked in an old persons home (where the restaurant was located) and they were some needy smurfs I absolutely hated working there at first.. Then I got confident and stopped being nervous and it was all gravy from there.
