If I tell her that she shouldn't take a massive strawberry shortcake to her bedroom when she is unable to even keep her eyes open, I get eye rolls...until she laughs about falling asleep and spilling it all over my BEIGE carpet, her bedclothes, and bed. THEN when I say, "I tried to tell you that you shouldn't have done that..." I get "I'm just not going to tell you anymore when I do things like this."

UGH. Apparently, destroying my house is hilarious. Why do I even try?

not actually 'met' him, I mean I just watched the episode where he comes in. I've heard of him from people that are caught up but now I got to see for myself.

And its gonna get worse.
Because when I renovate the basement, her room is getting gutted too. So I have to somehow find a way to tell her that she has to clean her room - from top to bottom - so we can get in there to lay new carpet.

She is going to bitch and moan and say she doesn't need new carpet just so she doesn't have to clean all the trash out of there.   I have a hard time being stern with her but Cam said he would do it if it was necessary.

I'm starting to get sad tonight that we're not buying that house...I must remember that the townhouses are still a step up. We're no longer going backwards. We'll buy a house again eventually. Only a few more months.

I love getting glares from the obese lady sitting the next table over from me in the food court for letting my daughter have bites of my plain (minus strawberries on top) frozen yogurt while her... hefty... son sits there pigging out on three slices of Sbarro pizza.
