She is the world's biggest pushover. Both her sons (not including SO) are nasty little smurfs who sell drugs, pop pills, steal. AND live at home. They are 21 and 27. She is def an enabler.

I can agree with this. When I was a teen, I saw some of my friends talking down to their parents and the parents didn't do much of anything. If my kids speak to me like they have lost their minds, I'm going to smack them into the middle of next week.

Respect is a huge thing in this house. I think it's a very learned behavior though. I've seen some incredibly disrespectful adults, and their children generally follow suit.

Right. Even now Sassy is that Sassy and thinks she can tell me what to do, she doesn't get very far but I have to give her credit she does put up a good little fight about how she just wants to be heard.

I have a thing for girly men anyway. I didn't marry one, though.

Right, see old people annoy me when they automatically assume that everyone will drop everything and do exactly what they want when they want it done. I'm just like doesn't work that way.
