Hm...i'm not sure about that, i'll have to check and see but I *think* they can start at 3, they'll just be in preschool for two years.

Nice. Maybe that's how it is here, I just asked a friend who lives in NC so we'll see. I want her to go ahead and start because she's like so attached to me and the weeschool thing, it's like i'll have to drop her off then turn around and pick her up 3 hours later. I don't think that'll go over good since I live 20 minutes from the school. I just need to get her into having a social life, however, my husband wants me to homeschool. I'm still kind of iffy on that whole ordeal.

Definitely check with your district to see what you can do. Kids do need to get out and socialize (just like us) so if she's not going on regular playdates then I would definitely push to get her in a preschool program. As for homeschooling, I just don't have the patience but if you can do it that would be great once you could make sure they were developing good social skills.

The only thing i'm finding is that there's a "head start" place where I live, that your kid can go to if they are 3 or 4 years old and it goes by your income. If you don't have low income, you'll be put on a waiting list.

I'm trying not to judge, but for smurf's sake, you're sitting there listening to music and chatting on the computer while your baby screams a few feet away from you.

Oh damn. It never hurts to call and ask though. Sometimes talking to someone will get you better answers than just checking online.
