is this really 50/50 custody??

My ex and I split up in March of this year and he made this custody schedule without even talking to me but i took it because at the time he was only taking our kids for a few hours on saturdays..
He takes them Monday 5:30 pm (after work) till 7:30 Am Tues
Wensday 5:30 pm till 7:30 am and every second weekend which is Saturday 5:30 pm till tuesday at 7:30am ( Mondays are already HIS day)

When weekends are Friday to Monday or in our case tuesday.. IMO opinon that isn't even 50/50 and I save him the trouble of having to get a sitter for the kids on saturdays, i feel he should be taking them friday nights aswell than dropping them off in the morning on saturdays on his weekends..

Am I wrong?

I would sit down and calculate the hours he is taking them against the hours in a month and go from there...

thanks, i am going to do that because he wont give me any form of chid support because he says he has them half the time and than i should be giving him money out of there family allowance

Yeah it doesn't sound like 50/50 to me but with it broken up like that, you never know.

I had to do the same thing with BD.

I agree with the previos post, it almost sounds like hes getting them MORE than 50%.

the way i am looking at it I have them MORE than he does because he doesnt pick them up till 5:30 -6:00 and drops them off at 7:30 am and on his weekends doesnt pick them up till 5:30 the sat and really onlyl has them sat sun mondays are already his day and no it's not through the courts he wanted us to do it ourselves

Go to the courts or see a mediator to sort this out.

If he has the children as much as he does, why should he have to pay you child support?

he doesnt pay me support and I dont want his money.. I am just wondering if it is really a 50/50 custody situation is all

Yes, it appears to be a 50/50 custody situation.

Technically, if it is a 50/50 custody situation (like this appears to be), you should not be getting child support and the Child Tax Benefit should be split between both parents.

i would willingly split it 50/50 if it is truly 50/50 but as i am adding it up i have them more than he has them I have them EVERYDAY when he drops them off or picks them off hes only had them 7.5 hrs and i have the 17.5 hours.. its not the money i am concerned about and i didnt mean to make it sound that way at all... BUT i am postive its just how it breaks up

According to what I am calculating out based on the hours he has them, vs the hours you have them, you have them WAY more than he does.
