My 10 month old loves patty cake and plays back with me (clapping and tapping my hands) she loves to play ball, on the floor rolling it or throwing it to me. stuff like that. lol

I don't think there's anything "wrong" with the TV, but I know she watches it with her parents. So, I didn't know if there is a "too much".

I can wear her if I have to clean, that might help because if Einstien isn't on, she notices that I'm not in the room (she'll be in her play-pen if I'm not right with her) and then she cries. The DVDs serve to distract her so I can run over to the kitchen and do dishes and things.

She loves peek-a-boo. I haven't tried real blocks or instruments. I'll do that. Thanks:-)

Lol! That's so cute!:-)

My niece tries to feed me her little plastic balls because their too big to fit in her own mouth. I pretend to eat them and make a "yuck" face and she goes crazy laughing.

Same, I always have TV on too. I must be the worlds worst mother OH NO! lol. Seriously though, my DD doesn't even pay attention to it unless I put bubble guppies on or something & even then she doesn't sit and watch the whole episode, she loses interest.

My niece is that way with anything but Einstien, as far as I've seen.

I don't think the tv she watches hurts her, I was afraid that the amount might be taking time away from things we could be doing that would build her skills and strengthen her ability to interact with people. Maybe I worry too much, my sis thinks so, lol:-).

. I hope my post didn't offend anyone:-(.

I have the tv on basically all day for my toddler and hes been watching it since day. of course we play games and stuff but i dont see how it could hurt as long as its age appropriate and educational. My 21 month old is smart as all hell he can sing his ABCs already and he will go up to your face and point out your mouth and nose and stuff and say what they are
