I would hate for someone to edit the photos i take for them, after i spent hours editing them all. such a slap in the face.

if you must edit them ,don't post them online after you edit them, just print them and call it good.

Ah, i see. I've only ever went to Penny's for LO's pictures, don't know why lol. I wasn't too happy with his birthday pictures, and I didn't like the guy that did our family ones, but they turned out good enough for me. My cousin usually goes to Sears, she was real unhappy with the boy's christmas pictures though. All depends who ya get

it depends on the person working the studio.. i mean yea you can expect something similar but sometimes with different people come people who are motivated to set those high expectations and others unfortunately who dont care as much

They don't edit them at these studios. They just print them up as is, the only editing is if you get the "enhanced" and that's just them making it black and white or sepia.

If I were paying a photographer who edits their work, I wouldn't go back and edit it.


And yeah, I don't put them up all over the place, it's just for a print to hang in my home.

exactly i used to work at little picture me when i lived in alabama, and even though sears costs more, we would get people coming from there complaining about the pictures, and even though we were cheaper we still made sure to take our time to produce pictures that you wouldnt expectout of walmart

oh i see. I've only ever been to one studio (JCP) in my grown up life. so i don't remember too much of how it worked out.

If i ever go to a studio again, it wouldn't be a big name studio, probably a local photographer that owns their own studio... best way to go.

well, porait innovations trains their people. i was never trained at walmarts studio. they handed me a camerw. luckily, im a photog but still. lol.

whats wrong with outdoor shoots? maybe you can find a local photog that has a studio. there are a lot of photographers thwt whvr studios besides corportations.

call back and speak with the manager, complain and say you are not happy.. if they are a good manager and want to keep your business they will ask if you want to do a reshoot and take your pictures themselves

I'm actually in CT, but yes New England where it's not warm in the winter lol
