Passport? Expedite service!

My dh an I are going to Jamaica end of January and I have to get a passport I have put it off long enough I have my application I just need to go turn it in an all that, my dh has a passport we didn't find out we were going until beginning of this month so I didn't have a lot of notice! Anyone ever had to have a passport expedited? How long did it take for you to get?

They actually don't take as long to get as you think, and on the application it asks when you are going out of country. So when you go turn it into the post office, ask them what they think before you just pay extra for faster service, you may not need to.

I feel like my husband got his within 1-2 weeks.

I had mine expedited but its not a guarantee that its going to come quickly. Mine sure didn't.

I didn't pay the expedite fee when I got mine, and it came in right at 4 weeks.
