How?

I need to curl my hair tomorrow and I've never done it before. My hair is naturally curly but not the way I want it. I remember the last time I got my hair done being told not to wash it for a day or two before, is that true? Also should I straighten it first or should I just brush it out (which turns it into a huge frizzy mess)?

If you don't wash it, a lot fo times it holds the curl better. It would probably be a good idea to straighten it and start with a clean slate. You could also use your straightener to make some cute curls.

If you straighten your hair first, The curls are not going to hold barely at all.
I've also tried curling my hair with the straighter doesn't work for me lol.

Sure they will. My hair loves to frizz in any weather, so I always straighten first, or else I get frizzy curls.

Maybe so. I also have a ton of very thin blonde hair, so it's easily manipulated.
