hubby at the baby shower.

it won't be for 3 1/2 months but I'm not good with being the vented of attention. my husband asked if I wanted him to be there and I said yes. do you think ppl will find it weird if the shower is both men and women? I want him to feel comfortable and have guys to talk with too. or should I just invite women like you're supposed to?

"Like you're supposed to"? Since when are you only supposed to invite women? Every baby shower I've ever gone to has had men at it. I think it's kind of ridiculous to not expect the father to be there. He's going to need the baby stuff just as much as you are. Idk I just think the idea of having it be only for the mother sends the message that it's the woman's job to care for the baby.

haha ok. I just wanted to see what other ppl felt. the lady who is running mine also ran my friend's shower and her son who is our brother basically was being kicked out. he got mad at his mom and stayed anyway. she will probably be posses... then again it is My shower and she can get over it.

Yeah don't let anyone try to ruin your shower. Have it the way you want it. And honestly at all the ones I've been to the dads have had just as much fun as the moms.

had my baby shower back in November and me and my partner decided that having a baby isn't all about mummy and daddy has as much involvement as us mummy's, so we invited men and women and we had a really good time, he had loads of lads to talk to and left me with all the women to talk babies. i don't think i would ever have one just women now that we have had one including men.
