SEE BELOW FOR CROTCH SHOT!

Well, for one, its a VERY feisty little baby. I can now feel this baby kick from the OUTSIDE. I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow (well, today since its so damn late). I felt it a few days ago and DH felt it a couple of days before that! But, today, the DOCTOR felt it. HARD while giving me an ultrasound. I'd gone in for fluids since I'd gotten very dehydrated by awful food poisoning. All fixed up now (although all the strain in my pelvis DID weaken my cervix a little, but not enough to concern the doc since my stitch is going in next week! Down almost 3/4 of a centimeter, but still plenty long for "normal" pregnancies)

BUT, while i was suffering through an IV, I did get another peek at baby and doc got a great crotch shot and told me his opinion (which I agree with), but I figured before I reveal I'd see what the BG ultrasound experts think of the pic...

So, is the pic of a tiny penis or a vagina? Thoughts?

Sorry its not super sharp---it was done on a tiny portable ultrasound machine. Doc promised me good pics on his super-charged machine next week when I go for my surgery  

Girl... can I see the profile head shot? I can possibly confirm with that.

The only profile pic i have is from 12 weeks (11w6d actually) and there's no nub.

This is the only shot I got today (was just a cervical ultrasound to make sure my cervix is holding up and doc did a peek as a favor just for fun).

Not completly sure... a boy?
You probably saw it better on the machiene.
When i was getting my daughters scan, i actually saw it before they told me and knew i was having a girl.
But i can't tell on the pics they gave me that says she's a girl.

Yeah..

Only profile pics I have of any kind are from 11w6d. I have no other ultrasound pics since then other than this one pic. That's it.

Also, not sure how a skull can tell you gender, so enlighten me  .

Usually there is a slight yet distinct difference in bone structure between boys and girls. The head being one. Usually the boys head is almost perfectly round where the girls is usually a little bit longer (or more oval).

Well, my previous two were boys and so when I was looking I was just comparing it to their ultrasounds around the same time in my head. All 3 genders have been obvious to me as soon as they popped up on screen, though

never heard that. I'll have to compare my previous babys' ultrasounds to the known genders---they both seemed to have very round nuggets (so did my other two with unnknown genders that were far enough along for good pics).

It rang true for all 3 of mine

Does it look like the typical girls head?
I think hers is pretty round...
