Insomnia sucks! I never want to take anything for it since I have to get up with the boys still

I don't. I see it as an opportunity that I am thankful to have. I could work and go to school but I am lucky enough to stay home with my daughter and pursue my degree.

my kids are not being "raised" by anyone else by being in daycare that is a very ignorant statement

My almost 3 year old didn't sleep until he was about 1. It was miserable he'd power nap 20-30 minutes that's it. I've been where you are it's miserable.

Yup that was T. As soon as I'd unlatch him he'd be in hysterics. I swear I'm having PTSD flash backs of that age lol

I've done both and working is WAY harder. Especially since I don't have a car so public transit adds an extra 3hrs to my "work" day, easy.

Working is so much harder and I've done both. Life was so freaking easy when I didn't have to work, but also I felt I was missing my "calling". My husband is gone for a week plus at a time. I do everything on my own plus work full time nights. I am mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted 24/7. I can't fathom how being a SAHM is harder then what I do. I am much happier with who I am when I'm working, but I am a hell of a lot more tired and worn out

I think it depends on how easy/difficult your children are honestly. I know it's not the same as being a full time parent, but being a live in nanny to a very defiant little boy was exhausting. Fast forward to another nanny job I had where the kids were pretty well behaved and it was a walk in the park, even with a 1 year old.

Personally I could never be a SAHM. I would get too frustrated/bored.
