Since when are bibles "not allowed' in schools? You can take your on but no they should not provide one in a public school.

If you really aren't allowed to have your bible with you at school - can someone clue me in. I've never heard of that & know of kids who take theirs everywhere.

This is stupid. Prison and school don't go in the same category.

The bible isn't something to crack into at school. That should be for at home, with your parents, or at church.

Not at all. That's smurfing stupid. They may not be allowed in schools but you can always read it at home.

Not in school but I do think if some form of spirituality/accountability to a higher power were more popular like it was in the past there'd be some better values in children raised today.

I say NO! My mother went to a Catholic school read her bible and prayed the rosary everyday. Um yea she is sitting in prison right now sitting on 8 years of a 16 year sentence.

They are allowed in schools. They aren't allowed to teach it, preach it or pray it up. Totally different concepts. And I'm glad I don't have to deal with it. Unless they are going to teach all religions, they shouldn't teach ANY.
