Going to be induced

If my son isn't born in the next 10 days I will be induced on the 20th. I can't wait I have been in so much pain for the past 3 weeks now. It sucks that I have to wait so much longer but at least there is an end to this. I can't walk or roll over without crying from the pain. So I'm glad I'll be done in 10 days.

I'll probably be getting a lot of crap for this post to telling me to wait, but I'm sorry this will be my fourth baby and with my last three I had to be induced. Sometimes our body needs help, and can't do it on your own.

I was induced..not a fan.

The only reason you will get crap, is because you said you will. I doubt anyone would say something about you being induced so close to your due date. The only thing they have a problem with is trying to make a baby come when you aren't even term or trying castor oil.

Haha you'd be shocked. Inductions not medically needed are typically torn apart, even if the mama is term.

Op, good luck! I'll be induced on the 19th due to my GD. Hopefully baby is healthy!

yeah they would, they give anyone crap for trying to evict before their due date. I've seen people go 2 days overdue and get smurf for being induced (myself included!)

Yeah I'll never try castor oil although I have thought about it in the past, and I have had family members who have done it. I just don't want to be thinking about am I going to poop on the doctor while pushing him out, or needing to go to the bathroom all the time.

I will only if my body won't do it on its own, so far with all 4 pregnancy I will get close to being in labor but will go anywhere without help. My girls my water broke at 36 weeks and I had contractions all the way up to it braking then nothing after, and my son and so far this baby I have been contracting since 36 weeks but will only dilate so far. So far I'm a 3 and almost all thinned out. But, thats where I stopped with my son too. Also as soon as my body picked up with the induction and started to contract I would go from 3 or a 4 and have my kids out in less then a hour later.

Yeah exactly people are always getting jumped on her for stupid things. I'm happy about being induced although I really wanted to do it on my own but my body can't do it.

Good luck your baby will be healthy don't worry. My son was at almost 8 lbs two weeks ago, and today he is over 9 kinda getting worried.

Oh I should add I'm also high risk.

She was only 7 pounds 2 ounces today at my growth u/s  
I'm happy they're letting me go till 40 weeks. They were talking about inducing the 12th, but my cervix is being stubborn lol

Yeah I hear you I'm glad that he won't be born on Christmas at least I don't want him to feel like he didnt get enough or something. But, I have been at almost a 3 and almost all the way thinned out since 36 weeks. It sucks the doctor keeps saying he will be here any day but then I see her next week and she would say I would of thought you would of had him already. :-(
