anyone else have had this problem?

posted 10th Dec
. For about 4 days my bottom gums have been swollen red and hurting real bad. I am going to call in the morning to try to get a dentist appointment but I really need to know if anybody else has experienced this during pregnancy. It almost feels like I could peel my gums right off my bottom teeth thats how loose they are all of a sudden. I couldn't even bite into a banana with the front of my mouth its so bad. and when i press the bottoms of my teeth under my gums its like i can actually feel the roots of my teeth and its excrutiating pain when i touch there. i take my vitamins and drink my milk everyday i dont understand. this is scaring me i dont wanna be one of those pregnant mommas that have to go through losing their teeth please help!!!!

I'm thinking either your gums are super sensitive which is normal or you have pregnancy gingivitis.

it's normal in pregnancy for your gums to swell, hurt and bleed. make sure you keep up with brushing, flossing and dental check ups

Very normal. I had super sensitive gums with my pregnancies and my dentist confirmed that it was normal.

have had that with all mine.. this is my third.... the hormones and the fact that ur body is making a tiny human has it set backs.... when i brush my teeth and spit it looks like i had a fight with a boxer!! but its a good thing to get a check up anyways.... and a clean if ur denist will.. my denist said its totally normal and u will go back after baby comes....u can also get mists in ur mouth too... so watch out for them... its rare but it happens... i have had one of them... they are just annoying but do no harm... good luck
