Yeah I gained like 40 lbs within months. I'd say like 3-4 months.

It's the fact that people don't use them properly. They can be just as effective, if not moreso, than birth control, but people get caught up in the moment and forget. My DH and I used them religiously. We forgot once and now we have a 3 year old.

I have a 2 month old because we didn't wear one but now that I have her we are more cautious now

You may want to start tracking your cycles. Avoid sex during your fertile times.

You can be as "cautious" as you want, still doesn't mean it'll work.

That's what I do. I do not use any type of BC, so I chart (have an app on my phone), and sustain on my fertile days.

I just want to use condoms because my only other choice is a depo shot and I don't want that
