Mirena Mommies!!!!

I kinda posted about this yesterday.

I have Mirena and the closest thing I have to a period is a redish brown discharge so light that I don't have to wear a liner or anything, it can only be seen when I wipe. I've read on here from other moms that Mirena caused major mood swings that ultimately make an anxiety/depression condition worse. I believe that's what happening to me. But I'm also feeling sick. For the past two weeks or so I've had cramps that start at the top of my stomach and stretch all the way down like period cramps. I've also been extremely nauseous, with and without the cramps. I went to the ER Wednesday night thinking it was the stomach flu. They had me pee in a cup and did a PG test and it was negative. Could the cramping and nausea be from the Mirena? Could it be a pregnancy and it just didn't show up on that test? (I would think the hospital has more accurate tests than the home ones and it would show up by now if it was that. But ya never know!) So mirena mommies what the heck is going on with me?? Is it from the mirena or something else?


Edit: I also get headaches so bad I can hardly function. The only way I can describe it is it feels like someone is taking a white hot knife and either slicing my head up or stabbing me in the brain.

I had severe cramping due to my mirena being embedded in my uterus.

Depends how far u could be, I tested positive with mirena at 5 weeks and 5 days, they did ultrasound at er... and they use the 99 cent tests at hosps and clinics unless they drew blood...

Like all over? Or just like period cramps? Mine can be anywhere from under my ribs to period cramps

They did blood work to but I'm not sure if they did a PG test. And I had my period or what ever you wanna call it that day to...

It was kind of weird. Most of the time it started as period like cramps, and then it would kind of radiate everywhere to where my whole abdomen was sore.

Can u feel strings?? I would have asked for ultrasound, call ur ob and see if he'll do us.

Umm...I haven't checked in a while... If I can't does that mean it's moved or something?

See mine starts in random places and sometimes stays there and sometimes moves. Sometimes it's bearable sometimes I'm curled up in bed or on the couch trying not to cry or scream bloody murder from pain
