animals just know??

posted 10th Dec
my cat is not a lap cat by any stretch of the imagination. Well, since I have gotten pregnant she has been almost attentive towards me. This past week or so she follows me into the bathroom everytime i go pee. Now today she has slept on my lap, between my legs, and curled up to my belly all day. Right before my sister went into labor her dogs were all over her non stop the same way my cat has been up my butt. I have heard that animals know when you are going to go into labor... anyone have any experiences like that?

My dog was like that. Then once I started showing she would sit on my lap and if anyone would try to touch my belly she would growl at them.

I'm sure both my cats knew early on. They acted sooo needy. Now one of them follows me everywhere.

I spent the majority of my pregnancy sleeping at my sisters because SO worked nights. Her dog (a yorkie) was obsessed with me. She would curl up against my belly and sleep there all night.

With my first pregnancy, my cat totally knew. She was all up on my belly from day one until I gave birth. It's the only place she wanted to sleep.

Fast forward 4 years and a new cat (my other little lady was super old) and she just doesn't give a crap, lol.

I have a boxer and he definitely knows that there is a baby in my belly.... He lays his head on my belly and when the baby moves and he feels it he looks up at me and looks at me like what was that mama... I know he will be good with the baby... I also have a cat and at first she was always with my other half, but lately she has cuddled with me at night and during the day when I lay down... Animals sure dont get enough credit!!!
