Trying to conceive after15 years of birth control

Hello! I'm excited to announce I will be going off the pill in February to TTC!! I have been on the pill since I was 15 years old. I'm now 30. I don't even know what a real period is like!! I hope it's not bad! lol! Anywho, I was wondering if anyone has had any problems TTC after being on the pill so long...? I had a check up by my mid-wife and she says I'm good to go. How long did it take you to conceive?

15 yrs? Wow.

I was on it nearly 4 1/2 yrs and then wanted to TTC my 3rd, and when I stopped I got a (+) 6 wks later.

I was on hormonal birth control for 5 years (not quite 15, lol) but I got pregnant 9 months after stopping without ever trying so I had no issues  .

my friend was on the pill for 15 years if not longer and had NOOO problem getting pregnant. she just stopped taking it and never had her next period, turned out she had gotten pregnant the first month of being off the pill!!
