If she's not gonna help out with one simple smurfing task then she shouldn't be pushing for him to go back. He is a grown ass man, he doesn't need to be living mommy OR getting rides from mommy. I'd be pissed too if she said she would just to help them out and then decided not to. She needs to make up her damn mind.

Seriously? How does he feel about it? My MIL is kind of like that too. Ever since she found out that i'm pregnant she's starting to become really possessive and smurf, and even trying to convince SO that this baby isn't his. MIL's can be crazy..

after the holidays were talking about getting his a cheap truck or something for him to drive, yet have to keep it secret cause every time we mention getting him a car she gets all mad and says "no he'll go to jail i'll take him". but after a few weeks its back to this smurf! its more aggravation than anything..

he says just ignore her cause he knows how she is... she convinced him that his 1st born wasnt his and secretly got a DNA test with out the BM even knowing.

That's what my SO says too. "Just ignore her, don't let it get to you". Well, it gets to me. And I would be so pissed if my boyfriend went behind my back and got a DNA because of his psycho mother. My MIL is demanding a DNA test and refuses to accept that her son is about to become a father but if he went behind my back all hell would break loose.

well finally last night i told her that i dint mind talking him to work but all the extra driving is really running down my gas when she drives right by us, that pissed her off, i also told her when she told me to get an abortion to freakin bad. that really pissed her off she replied with dont expect anything from her. which i dont.
